SPRING/SUMMER SEVERE WEATHER POLICY
The policy for service cancellation due to severe weather follows:
In the case of a tornado warning prior to a service,
that service is cancelled.
In the case of a tornado watch ending less than one hour prior to a service, that service
will be cancelled.
The policy for service cancellation due to winter severe weather follows:
In the case of severe winter weather, the Pastor and
one member of
the Executive Committee may make a decision to cancel any service.
The service must be cancelled two hours prior to the service time (8:00 a.m. or 4:00
p.m.).
Notice of cancellation of any service will
be posted on TV 8 (WOOD),
TV 13 (WZZM) and WGHN 92.1.
