Severe Weather Policy

Michigan weather does disrupt scheduled worship services on occasion. If you have a question about whether or not a service or scheduled event will happen, please check our website or visit:

In general, here are the guidelines we follow for safety:

• A service will be cancelled if there is a tornado warning, or if a tornado watch has not been lifted at least one hour prior to the service.
• A service will be cancelled during severe winter weather at the discretion of the Leadership Board. Typically, that cancellation will be announced two hours prior to the start of the service.
• An email will be sent to notify church members that our service is cancelled.
